Dan Gillespie and Kathy Buttle demonstrate the rainfall simulator at the 2016 Winter Conference in Salina, KS. 

Kathy Buttle, Scottsbluff, NE - Kathy is an NRCS Nebraska employee working at as trainer for the agency. She brings a wealth of experience about soil health to those she trains in the agency and as she showcases the rainfall simulator.

Dan Gillespie, Battle Creek, NE - Dan utilizes continuous no-till on his own farm and has been implementing continuous no-till for 24 years in irrigated and dryland fields. Experimenting with cover crops in a corn/soybean rotation since 2005, he noticed recognizable benefits of increased erosion control and the decrease in ephemeral gully control problems on the Highly Erodible Land (HEL) fields. Dan will share his own experiences as he demonstrates the rainfall simulator.
